New platform signs tested at the Central Railway Station metro station

New platform signs will be tested at the Central Railway Station metro station in November. The purpose of the signs is to remind passengers to let others get off first when boarding the metro.

New platform signs will be tested at the Central Railway Station metro station between 1 and 14 November. Helsinki City Transport (HKL) and Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL) are examining ways to utilize passenger information and other means in order to help passengers move around the station and on the platforms.

The purpose of the new signs is to remind passengers to let others get off first when boarding the metro.

Other metro stations will receive similar signs later, provided that they are deemed useful. Passenger interviews will be conducted at Central Railway Station metro station to determine whether passengers find the signs helpful.
