Changes to commuter train timetables and services from 12 December

Some L, U, I and K train services will be withdrawn from Sunday 12 December due to track work and to deliver cost-savings. There will also be other changes to the timetables of K, P, D, R, Z and T trains.

Some L, U, I and K train services will be withdrawn from Sunday 12 December due to regular track work. Some off peak train services with particularly low ridership will be withdrawn to deliver cost-savings.

The reliability of P and K train services will be improved by timetable changes: from 12 December, the trains will depart from Vantaankoski, Hiekkaharju and Tikkurila one minute later than currently. The change is made to prevent trains from backing up on the main line.

There will also be changes to the timetables for D, R, Z and T trains in late evening and at night. The changes aim to provide more even headways on shared sections.

New timetables are available in the Journey Planner as well as in the printable timetables
