Due to the traditional Christmas parade, trams 2, 3, 4 and 7 will be diverted in downtown Helsinki at approximately 4.15pm–5.45pm on Saturday 27 November. The parade will start off from the Senate Square and then make its way via Hallituskatu, Snellmaninkatu Aleksanterinkatu, Mannerheimintie, Pohjoisesplanadi, the Market Square and Mariankatu back to the Helsinki Cathedral. Additionally, the afternoon departure times for tram 5 will be brought forward.
Trams 2 and 3 have two different diversion routes
Tram 2 from Pasila station will run all the way to the “Hietalahti” (H0811) stop in Ruoholahdenranta. From Hietalahti, the tram will continue towards Meilahti under route number 3.
Tram 2 will not serve stops “Ylioppilastalo”, “Aleksanterinkatu” and “Senaatintori” on Aleksanterinkatu. Additionally, the tram will not serve the “Kauppatori” stops or stops “Eteläranta” and “Olympiaterminaali” on Laivasillankatu.

From Meilahti, tram 3 will run to the terminus of tram 6, “Eiranranta” (H0826). From Eiranranta, the tram will continue towards Pasila station under route number 2.
Tram 3 will not serve the “Olympiaterminaali” stops or stops “Kaivopuisto”, “Neitsytpolku” and “Kapteeninkatu” on Tehtaankatu. Additionally, the tram will not serve the “Eiran sairaala” stops or stops “Viiskulma” and “Iso Roobertinkatu” on Fredrikinkatu.

Replacement bus 3X will run between stops “Lasipalatsi” (H1903) and “Eteläranta” (H0433). Apart from the departure stop, the bus will serve all the tram stops along the route. Bus 3X runs along the following route: Mannerheimintie - Bulevardi - Fredrikinkatu - Laivurinkatu - Tehtaankatu - Laivasillankatu - Eteläranta.

Tram routes 4 and 7:
Tram 4 will not run to Katajanokka but straight to Kolmikulma from Mannerheimintie.
Tram 7 will run directly along Kaisaniemenkatu. The tram will not serve the stops on Liisankatu, Snellmaninkatu, Aleksanterinkatu or Mikonkatu.

Replacement bus 4X will run between Postikatu and Katajanokka and depart from the “Postitalo” (2038) stop. The bus will run along the following route: Postikatu - Kaivokatu - Kaisaniemenkatu - Liisankatu - Pohjoisranta - Meritullintori - Kanavakatu - Satamakatu - Kruunuvuorenkatu - Linnankatu - Merikasarminkatu.

The afternoon departure times of tram 5 will be brought forward. The tram will depart from the Railway Square at 3.59pm and 4.07pm. The departures from Ooppera to Katajanokka will run via the Railway Square at 3.34pm, 3.42pm and 3.50pm.
