The route of bus 224 will change on Monday 10 January 2022. The bus will no longer call at Kuurinniitty. Journey times e.g. from Tuomarila to Kauniainen and Leppävaara will shorten.
Kuuriinniitty will be served by rerouted bus 118 (Tapiola – Suurpelto – Espoon keskus). The bus will run along a new public transport street to be opened between Suurpelto and Kuurinniitty. The bus will run more frequently than bus 224 and it will provide new transport links from Kuuriinniitty to, for example, Niittykumpu Metro Station and Tapiola.
Journeys from Kuurinniitty to Kauniainen will involve changing from bus 118. Alternatively, passengers can walk to the stop of bus 224. The walk from the Kuurinniitty turnaround to the stop is about 800 meters.
