Bus and train services when switching to summer time on 27 March

Finland will switch to summer time on the night of Saturday 26/Sunday 27 March. The clocks will go forward one hour at 3am on Sunday 27 March. There will be some service alterations.

Finland will switch to summer time on the night of Saturday 26/Sunday 27 March. The clocks will go forward one hour at 3am on Sunday 27 March.

Bus services will operate to winter time (Saturday service). In other words, also early morning services will operate to winter time. Beginning from Sunday morning service, services will operate to summer time.

Commuter trains will depart on winter time until 3am on Sunday and they will run to their end stations on summer time. Trains with departure times after 4am will mainly operate to summer time.

After the clocks have changed on Sunday 27 March, the following trains will operate to winter time:

  • L trains from Helsinki to Kirkkonummi at 3.03am and 4.03am (i.e. they will depart at 4.03am and 5.03am summer time).
  • K train from Helsinki to Kerava at 3.51am (i.e. the train will depart at 4.51am summer time).
  • The 3.55am T train from Riihimäki will run on summer time, i.e. the train will depart from Riihimäki already at 2.55am on winter time and arrive in Helsinki at 5.09am on summer time.
  • T train from Helsinki to Riihimäki at 4.21am will operate to summer time.
