There will be changes to the Metro timetables in the early morning and evening from 9 May. Early morning services will increase in East Helsinki and from East Helsinki to the west, causing changes to departure times.
The last westbound services from Mellunmäki in the evening and the 6.19am Sunday morning service from Matinkylä will in the future run only between Mellunmäki and Tapiola.

The changes are due construction work on the turn track in Matinkylä.
Changes to morning services in detail
On the M1 line, services from East Helsinki to Espoo will start earlier. However, the first westbound service in the morning will depart from Itäkeskus. In addition, new services will be added on the M2 line. The new services will be at 6.05am from Mellunmäki to Tapiola on Sundays, as well as at 5.50am Mon-Fri and at 5.37am on Saturdays from Tapiola to Mellunmäki.
On Saturdays, westbound services from Vuosaari and Mellunmäki will run every 10 minutes from 5.45am. The departure times from Itäkeskus to Vuosaari and Mellunmäki will change.
The 6.19am Sunday service from Matinkylä will be withdrawn. In the future, the service will depart from Tapiola to Mellunmäki at 6.25am. There will also be changes to the timetables of services from Itäkeskus to Vuosaari on Sundays between 7am and 8am.
Changes to evening services in detail
In the evening, east bound services from Matinkylä and Tapiola will run every 15 minutes approximately from 10pm.
On the M2 line, the last westbound services from Mellunmäki will terminate at Tapiola every day. i.e. the last services will not run to Matinkylä.
