Buses going to Elielinaukio as well as tram routes 1 and 8 to be diverted on Saturday 3 September

Buses going to Elielinaukio as well as tram routes 1 and 8 will be diverted on Saturday 3 September approximately from 9.3am–11am.

Buses that normally run to Elielinaukio will be diverted on Saturday 3 September due to a 10km run that is part of the Finland–Sweden Athletics International. Töölönlahdenkatu and Helsinginkatu will be closed between Vauhtitie and Mannerheimintie approximately 10am–11am.

Tram routes 1 and 8 will be diverted from about 9.30am to 11.15am. The trams will run via Mannerheimintie, Nordenskiöldinkatu, Viipurinkatu, Porvoonkatu and Läntinen Brahenkatu. Helsinginkatu will not be served.

Buses 200, 300, 345, 400 and 431 will run to the Kamppi terminal instead of Elielinaukio between 9.30am and 11am. The buses will serve the “Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu” (H1273) stop along the diversion route. Bus 200 will depart from Kamppi from bay 46, bus 300 from bay 49, bus 400 from bay 50, bus 345 from bay 51 and bus 431 from bay 52.

Bus 40 will use the “Postitalo” stop H2038 on Postikatu instead of its usual stop on Elielinaukio between 9.30am and 11am.

Bus route 502 will be diverted between 9.30am and 11am and it will not serve its normal route in Töölö. The bus will run via Töölön tulli, Nordenskiöldinkatu and Vauhtitie to Helsinginkatu. The following stops will not be served: “Töölön kisahalli” H2064 and H2065, “Ratikkamuseo” H1328 and H1329, “Linnankoskenkatu” H1317, “Kirjailijanpuisto H1318, “Naistenklinikka” H1320 and “Haartmaninkatu” H1322. The bus will serve bus stops along the diversion route.
