Due to the Tapiola Festival held in the Tapiola Sports Park, the Metro will be running approximately two hours longer than usual on Friday and Saturday nights 19–20 August. The Metro will run to and from Matinkylä at night on lines M1 and M2.

Extended Metro operating hours
The Metro will be running approximately two hours longer than usual on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Metro services will run every 15 minutes on lines M1 and M2 until the end of service, meaning that the Metro will run every 7.5 minutes at night between Matinkylä and Itäkeskus.
The last Metro services
The last services from Matinkylä will leave on both nights to Mellunmäki at 1.14am and to Vuosaari at 1.21am. From the east, the last services will leave from Vuosaari at 1.07am and from Mellunmäki at 1.15am.
The last service from the Urheilupuisto metro station will leave to Mellunmäki at 1.17am and to Vuosaari at 1.25am. The last service from the Urheilupuisto metro station to Matinkylä will leave at 1.52am.
The last service from the Helsinki Central Railway Station will leave on both nights to Mellunmäki at 1.34am and to Vuosaari at 1.41am. The Metro will run from the Central Railway Station to Matinkylä until 1.36am.
How to get to Tapiola Sports Park
The easiest way to get to the festival is by Metro. The Urheilupuisto metro station is the station closest to the festival area. The distance between the station and the festival gates on Urheilupuistontie is some 400 meters when taking the route via Koivu-Mankkaan tie.
