Updated 12 Sep: Line 16 will return to the normal route in the direction of Korkeasaari on Tuesday, 13 September. In the direction of the Railway Square, the route is still diverted in Kaisaniemi.
Bus route 16 in the direction of the Railway Square will be diverted in Kaisaniemi from Monday 5 September. In the direction of Korkeasaari, the route has been diverted since 22 August.
The bus will run from Kaisaniemenkatu to Sörnäisten rantatie via Hakaniemi, straigth along Hakaniemenkatu. The bus will not serve Liisankatu and Pohjoisranta.
The "Snellmaninkatu" (H0454 and H0455), "Meritullinkatu" (H2013 and H2014) and "Liisanpuistikko" (H2015 and H2016) stops will not be served. In the direction of Korkeasaari, the bus serves the "Kaisaniemenpuisto" (H2061) and "Hakaniemi" (H2505) stops along the diversion route. In the direction of the Railway Square, the bus will serve the "Hakaniemi" (H2506) stop along the diversion route.
The diversion is due to track work on Liisankatu. In the direction of the Railway Square, the diverted route is expected to continue until 18 September.
