Buses 57, 78 and 78N as well as trunk bus 550 will resume their normal route along Viikinkaari on Monday 3 October. The buses will serve the new "Viikin tiedepuisto" (H3173 and H3174, Viikki Science Park) bus stops. The "Viikin biokeskus" stops on Viikinkaari have been closed.
The diversion via Viikintie will be withdrawn and the "Pasteurinkatu" (H3534 and H3535) stops will no longer be served.
The street was closed to public transport in January 2020 due to the construction of a new light rail line. Now the works have progressed to the extent that the street can be reopened to bus services.
