K and R trains will operate a reduced service on 17 and 18 September due to the construction of an underpass in Korso.
K trains will run every 20 minutes during the daytime on Saturday 17 September. Some R trains are cancelled between Helsinki and Kerava on Saturday 17 September and Sunday 18 September.
Changes in detail
On Saturday 17 September
- Between 10.11am and 6.51pm, K trains from Helsinki at 11, 31 and 51 minutes past the hour are cancelled. K trains will depart from Helsinki every 20 minutes at 01, 21 and 41 minutes past the hour. In addition, between 11.01am and 7.01pm, K trains from Helsinki at 1 minute past the hours will wait three minutes at Rekola station.
- Between 11.01am and 7.21pm, K trains from Kerava at 01, 21 and 41 minutes past thr hour are cancelled. K trains will depart from Kerava every 20 minutes at 11,31 and 51 minutes past the hour. In addition, the 7.42pm K train from Kerava will depart three minutes later than usual at 7.45pm.
- R trains from Riihimäki at 8.25am, 9.25am, 7.25pm, 8.25pm, 9.25pm and 10.25pm will terminate at Kerava station. Passengers travelling to Helsinki should change to a K or Z train.
- R trains from Helsinki at 8.40am, 9.40am, 7.40pm, 8.40pm, 9.40pm and 10.40pm are cancelled between Helsinki and Kerava.The trains will depart from Kerava to Riihimäki at 9.03am, 10.03am, 8.03pm, 9.03pm, 10.03pm and 11.03pm. Take a K or Z train to get from Helsinki to Kerava.
On Sunday 18 September
- Between 9.25am and 10.25pm R trains from Riihimäki at 25 minutes past the hour will terminate at Kerava station. Passengers travelling to Helsinki should change to a K or Z train. R trains from Kerata at 55 past the hour will run all the way to Helsinki.
- Between 9.40am and 10-40pm, R trains from Helsinki at 40 minutes past the hour will be cancelled between Helsinki and Kerava. The trains will depart from Kerava to Riihimäki at 3 minutes past the hour. Passengers travelling from Helsinki to Kerava are advised to use K train. R trains at 10 minutes past the hour will run from Helsinki to Riihimäki.
