Changes to I and P train services on the night of 2 October – Replacement bus 499X to run between Martinlaakso and Helsinki Airport

Due to track maintenance, I and P trains will not run between Martinlaakso and Aviapolis on the night of 2 October between 10.30pm and 4.30am. There will be no services to Vantaankoski, Vehkala and Kivistö stations. Trains will be replaced by bus 499X, which will run between Helsinki Airport and Martinlaakso via the intermediate stations.

The maintenance work will also affect the timetables of I and P trains. For detailed timetables, see the Journey Planner.

Helsinki – Huopalahti – Martinlaakso

P trains departing from Helsinki between 11.26pm and 11.46pm will only run from Helsinki to Martinlaakso. From there, the trains will run back to Helsinki as I trains between 10.57pm and 1.17am. The trains will run every 20 minutes.

Helsinki – Airport – Aviapolis

I trains departing from Helsinki between 10.11pm and 11.51pm will run via Tikkurila and Helsinki Airport to Aviapolis. From there, the trains will run back to the airport, Tikkurila and Helsinki as P trains.

Replacement bus 499X

Replacement bus 499X will run between Helsinki Airport and Martinlaakso. The bus will serve stops for replacement buses near the train stations that are not served by trains.

The same tickets will be valid for the replacement buses as for the trains. If you have a valid ticket, you can board the replacement bus also through the middle doors.
