Hop on a city bike – register as a user now!
The city bike registration is now open at https://www.hsl.fi/citybikes. You can now register as a user for the whole season, which runs from the beginning of May to the end of October. Registration as a short-term user (for a day or week) will be possible from 2 May, when the city bikes are available for use.
A pass for the whole season costs 25 euros, a weekly pass 10 euros and a day pass 5 euros. The fee is charged to a payment card you provide during the registration.
When your register, you get a personal cyclist ID and a PIN code that you need to pick up a bike. You can borrow a bike by entering your cyclist ID and PIN code on the keypad in the middle of a bike's handlebar. Instead of a cyclist ID, you can also use your HSL Travel Card for authentication.
You can ride up to 30 minutes for free each time you borrow a city bike. There is an extra charge for longer uninterrupted use of a bike. You can use a bike for a maximum of five hours at a time.
