The service, developed especially for Chinese visitors, is the first app in the world to combine tailored personal recommendations, mobility planning and purchase options for travelers.

“In Helsinki, using public transport is, in principle, easy because passengers can use the same ticket on different modes of transport. We are happy that our open API has, through joint efforts, been developed into a service that helps Chinese visitors to get around like locals, starting with the purchase of tickets,” says Matias Sarkkinen, Sales Manager at HSL.

The Deputy Mayor of Helsinki, Pia Pakarinen reminds that Helsinki has a long-standing special relationship with China. "We welcome Chinese visitors to Helsinki and encourage them to use the new app which makes travel easier."
