During the first city bike season in Vantaa, customer feedback included requests for more bike stations. Users also reported technical problems when collecting and returning bikes.
“During the winter, we will discuss with the service provider how to solve the technical problems. We will also review the station network We will probably add a few new stations based on customer feedback and some stations will be relocated,” says Heikki Alkila, traffic engineer at the City of Vantaa, who is responsible for the city bike system in Vantaa.
Next year, the city bike season will start in April.
