If you pay tickets purchased via the HSL app by phone bill, make sure you have a recent enough version of the app
If your HSL app is version 2.5.0 or older, we recommend that you update your app to the latest version to be able to continue using the pay by phone bill option. If you have enabled automatic updates, you do not need to do anything.
If your HSL app is version 2.5.1. or later, you can pay your ticket by phone bill as before without updating your app.
To check which version of the app you have, go to the More menu. The version number is displayed at the bottom of the page.
You can download the latest version from App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android devices).
NB! The new version of the app is rolled out in phases over a week, which means it is not immediately available to all users.
The new app version is needed because of changes to the background services enabling pay by phone bill.
If you pay tickets purchased via the HSL app by debit/credit card, you do not need to update your app to the latest version. However, with the latest version of the app you get access to new features such as vehicle locations in real time on the Journey Planner map.
