Lockable bike lockers are being trialled at Vuosaari Metro Station until the end of October.
“We hope that cyclists will try the lockers and give us feedback. If the service turns out to be a successful addition to Park & Ride, it could be extended to other public transport stations in the future,” says HKL’s service specialist Eeropekka Lehtinen.
The lockers are free of charge to use. You need an HSL account and HSL card to use the lockers. If you do not yet have an HSL account, create a new account at https://www.hsl.fi/hslid_register. Once you have an account, you can log in to our website and register to use the lockers. To register, enter your HSL card number on the My information page and agree to the bicycle locker Terms of Use.
Save your HSL card number in your information under the Bicycle Locker Service to use the card to lock and open bike lockers. You can only use one locker at a time.
The bike lockers are designed for short-term bike storage in conjunction with a public transport journey. You can store your bike in a bike locker for up to three days.

Over the past few years, we have worked to develop bicycle parking. In Kalasatama, there is a bike parking facility available for use with an HSL card with a total of 224 bike parking spaces. A bike parking center with space for 1,000 bikes will be built in conjunction with an underpass to be constructed from Kansalaistori Square to Kaisaniemi.
