HSL is reviewing Lauttasaari feeder bus services
HSL has launched a review of Lauttasaari feeder bus network to develop the public transport network in Lauttasaari area, with the metro as its backbone. The work will primarily focus on routes 20 and 21(B), but routes 15 and 104 will also be reviewed.
Follow the progress of the planning in the blog about the review of Lauttasaari feeder bus network (in Finnish).
The aim is to solve the problems of the current route network and to improve feeder services. For example, we are looking into improving the reliability of services through route planning. The planned changes should not affect costs, which means that the number of buses in operation will not change. Any changes to the current route network will be implemented in 2020.
You can follow the progress of the planning in the blog about the review of Lauttasaari feeder bus network (in Finnish). The blog also allows you to contact HSL’s public transport planners. There will also be other ways to participate in the planning, and information about these will be provided later on the blog and on other HSL information channels. You can also give your feedback via HSL’s feedback system and customer service.
The planning is carried out in cooperation with the City of Helsinki and bus operators in the area. The work is due to be completed by the end of 2019.
