Discount on HSL’s day tickets for European Championships

The European Athletics Championships 2012 will be held in
Helsinki 27 June - 1 July. HSL encourages spectators to use public
transport by offering a 50 % discount on day tickets.You can get
the discount by showing your event ticket. For example, a one-day
ticket for adults costs only EUR 6.
The discount-price day tickets are regional tickets that
entitle you to unlimited travel in Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and
Vantaa for one day from the first use. Day tickets are valid on all
public transport: Metro, trams, buses, commuter trains, and the
Suomenlinna ferry. Discount-price day tickets can be purchased at
HSL’s service point at the Central Railway Station 1 – 30 June. You
can purchase a day ticket for as many days as your event ticket is
valid (1-5 days). You can purchase one day ticket per an event
ticket.
Once the Championships begin on 27 June, one-day tickets for
adults and children will be available also at HSL's temporary sales
point at the Championships Event Park. The sales point is open
during the opening hours of the Event Park.
