My Travel Card online service now in testing

My Travel Card is an online service where customers can
themselves check the validity of the season ticket and amount of
value loaded on their Travel Cards as well as set up automatic
email reminders.  The reminder alerts you when the balance on the
card falls below a specified amount or when the season ticket is
about to expire. If you login to the service using your online
banking credentials, you can also browse your Travel Card load
history, value ticket purchases and your customer information. 

It is not yet possible to load value or season tickets on Travel
Cards via the service, or to change address or customer
information. Online loading will become available in a few years’
time when HSL’s new ticketing and information system is
introduced.

Starting to use the service

Starting to use the service is easy: you only need to register
with the service at
www.hsl.fi/omamatkakortti and know your Travel
Card number in order to view the validity of your season ticket and
the amount of value on your card.

If you login to the service using your online banking
credentials, you can also browse your Travel Card load history,
value ticket purchases and your customer information. You can also
print out a report showing your Travel Card transactions.

Add your family members

You can also add your family members' Travel Cards into your
user account, if you want. A useful feature for families, for
example, is the email reminder which alerts the parent when the
balance on the child's card drops below €5. 

What does it mean the service is in testing?

During the test phase, the service is further developed. At the
moment, there are some errors in the service of which HSL is aware.
The errors do not affect the viewing of value and season ticket
information.

The known errors are:

• Terminated employer-subsidized commuter tickets and direct
debit season tickets still show in the service even if they have
been terminated and are no longer available on the card. In some
cases where season tickets have been converted into value, the
season ticket may still show in the card information.

• In some cases, the address information may be
incorrect.
