HSL Travel Card is now also a loyalty card

HSL has started cooperation with Kliento oy who has develop a loyalty program for brick-and-mortar stores and restaurants. The cooperation enables the use of the HSL Travel Card as a loyalty card for the Kliento member companies. The cooperation is part of HSL’s customer program to be launched next spring.

“The cooperation with Kliento is a good addition to our future customer program because it allows us to offer our Travel Card customers new services in addition to HSL’s own services,” says HSL CRM & Marketing Manager Sami Jokivirta. One benefit for HSL Travel Card customers is that they need not get a separate loyalty card to take advantage of the benefits offered by the Kliento member companies. “I’m looking forward to seeing how our Travel Card customers respond to the new service provided by Travel Card,” Jokivirta says.

Loyalty program for brick-and-mortar stores

Klinto is a new kind of loyalty program service for brick-and-mortar stores located in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The member companies offer a range of loyal customer benefits: for example, customers can collect stamps on lunch loyalty cards, take advantage of the variable loyal customer benefits or collect points to earn rewards.

Not also the Travel Card serves as a loyalty card in all stores and restaurants included in the Kliento service. All you have to do is to show your Travel Card when you make a purchase but you can also register your Travel Card to the Kliento service at www.kliento.net. After the registration, you can view the rewards you have earned and give feedback to the companies via the service. The registration also guarantees that you do not lose the rewards you have earned if you lose your Travel Card. You will get the registration code when you make the first purchase with your Travel Card.

At the moment, for example Cafe Ursula, Ciao!Caffé, Wrong Asian Kitchen, Funky Burger and 4Runners are included in the service. New companies join Kliento all the time. "The Kliento loyalty program is meant in particular for local brick-and-mortar stores and restaurants.  

The cooperation with Kliento Oy is part of HSL’s customer program to be launched next spring. HSL wants to offer its customer partner benefits available with the Travel Card or via My HSL. For example, there are plans for using Travel Card as a library card.

The cooperation between HSL and Kliento Oy was started as part of the loyal customer card project of Forum Virium Helsinki.
