Changes to the route network plan for North East Helsinki

HSL has revised the route network plan for North East Helsinki on the basis of customer feedback.

You can view and comment on the new draft plan on HSL’s website until 1 March. You can submit your feedback also using the HSL feedback form as well as at public meetings to present the plan on 9 and 10 February.

In the new draft plan, changes are made to the routes of buses 72, 69 and 70 as well as to the operating hours of routes 68, 71, 77 and 79. We have tried to change the route network plan so that the changes would serve as many passengers as possible. However, it has not been possible to satisfy all the wishes of passengers as the amount of money available for the operation of services is limited.  In addition, some of the improvements proposed in the previous draft plan had to be given up so that the overall cost of operations would not increase.

HSL published the draft route network plan for North East Helsinki for comments on 23 December 2014.A residents' meeting was held at Malmitalo on 15 January 2015. Feedback on the plan has been collected also on the blog opened for the plan and through HSL's feedback system.
