How to get to the Housing Fair in Vantaa by public transport

The Vantaa Housing Fair is held in Kivistö, Vantaa from 10 July to 9 August. The fair is easily accessible by public transport as the venue is located close to the Kivistö railway station opened to traffic on 1 July.

The Kivistö station is served by I and P trains. P trains run from Helsinki to Kivistö, from where they continue via Helsinki Airport to Tikkurila and back to Helsinki. I trains run the same route in the opposite direction: from Helsinki to Tikkurila, from where the trains continue via the airport to Kivistö and back to Helsinki.

The journey from Helsinki to Kivistö via Myyrmäki takes about 25 minutes, from Tikkuril to Kivistö 15 minutes.

You can plan your route to the fair with HSL's Journey Planner ( The Journey Planner gives you instruction all the way to the Housing Fare gat, if you type “Housing Fair” or “Housing Fair 2015” in the ‘To’ field.

Although the Journey Planner suggests that you walk 1.1 kilometers from the Kivistö station to the venue, you can also use the free, driverless CityMobil2 bus or a regular Housing Fair feeder service.
