HSL and VR to study perceived safety on commuter trains

HSL and VR are launching a joint survey this week to study how safe passengers feel on commuter trains. The survey starts on Thursday.

The survey is conducted extensively on all commuter train rail sections at different times of the day. Passengers are given invitation cards containing a code allowing them to respond to the online survey.

Completing the survey takes only about five minutes and all respondents enter into a draw for 20 Finnkino movie tickets.

HSL and VR are particularly interested in how safe passengers deem travel on commuter trains and does the perceived safety vary by time of day.
