HSL ticket sales staff deployed at the Helsinki Airport train station

HSL increases ticket sales at the Helsinki Airport train station. From Monday 3 August, tickets can be purchased from HSL ticket sales staff at the Tietotie entrance to the airport train station. In addition, HSL ticket machines have been installed at all three baggage claim halls.

HSL ticket sales staff sell single tickets at the temporary main entrance (Tietotie entrance) to the Helsinki Airport train station Monday to Sunday 9am-9pm. You can pay by card or cash.

In addition, there are HSL ticket machines at the airport baggage claim halls T1, T2A and T2B as well as at bus stops in front of terminals T1 and T2, from where the free shuttle buses to the temporary entrance to the train station leave.

Ticket machines sell public transport tickets for journeys in Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo, Kauniainen, Kerava, Sipoo and Kirkkonummi. In addition to single tickets, the machines sell day tickets and you can also load your Travel Card at the machine. The machines accept credit and debit cards with chip and cash.

You can load your Travel Card also at the airport R-kiosks, the Tourist Information located in Terminal 2 and at Alepa grocery store. R-kiosks and the Tourist Information also sell HSL’s day tickets that entitle you to unlimited travel for 1-7 days, as well as 2-hour tickets.

You can buy HSL single tickets also from VR ticket machines available at baggage claim halls and on the train station platform. In addition to HSL single tickets, VR ticket machines sell train tickets to anywhere in Finland. The machines only accept credit/debit cards with chip.

You can also buy tickets from conductors on trains in ticketing compartments.

More HSL ticket machines will be installed in the connecting corridor to the Airport train station at a later stage. The direct access from the terminal building to the train station will be completed in late October/early November.
