Bus 77A will run from Teerisuontie via Malminkaari and Pikkalankatu to Vilppulantie from 20 June. The arrangement will remain in place until the end of 2016.
Route 78 is withdrawn. The route is replaced by routes 560 and 94A, which will start to run every ten minutes at peak times.
Bus 84 will start to run along Gunillantie untile the Koirasaarentie roundabout, allowing the route to serve the new residential areas of Gunillankallio and Borgströminmäki in Kruunuvuorenranta.
Bus services in Vantaa
Route 712A will run between Tikkurila and Kuusijärvi during the summer.
There will be some long-term diversion routes. The renovation of the Seutula bridge will affect routes 444,445, 446 and 576 from 20 June to 14 August. Routes 444 and 445 will be diverted to run via Viinikanmetsä along Katriinantie. A temporary bus service 448 will replace route 446 to Koivupää and from Riipiläntie to the bridge. Bus 448 will also serve Kannisto. Route 576 will terminate at Katriina Hospital.
Bus services in Kirkkonummi
There will be changes to bus services to/from Siuntio. A new bus route, 182, will provide feeder services from Siuntio to commuter trains from Kirkkonummi. Bus 171 will no longer run to Siuntio.
Bus services in Sipoo
Route 99K Gumbostrand (K = not via Immersby) will operate 20 June – 14 August. There will be two services in each direction from Monday to Saturday.
Tram services, Metro and commuter trains
Tram 5 will begin operating from Rautatientor to the Katajanokka terminal from 20 June. At the same time, route 4T will be withdrawn.
The Metro will run every five minutes on the trunk section and every ten minutes on the Mellunmäki and Vuosaari branches Mon-Fri during the summer.
On commuter train services, there will be changes to night time services on the Ring Rail Line. The 3.59am I train running Mon-Fri and 0.44am P train running Mon-Thu and Sun will be withdrawn. In other words, the 0.44am P train will run only on Friday and Saturday nights. The changes are due to low passenger numbers and track work.
Summer timetables available in the Journey Planner
As an increasing number of passengers are using online and mobile service to access timetable information, HSL does not publish a separate summer timetable booklet.
Route-specific timetable leaflets are available on buses and trams as well as at HSL's service points at the Central Railway Station, in Itäkeskus and Pasila. In Espoo and Vantaa, Citizens’ Offices have timetables leaflets for routes operating in the area. U line timetables are available on the buses.
HSL also delivers new printed timetables to stops and terminals. Passengers are advised to check the validity of the timetables because new timetables will be installed at stop in advance. In some places new timetables will be installed after the beginning of the summer timetable season.
