HSL will introduce new advance purchase single tickets on 19 June. The new single tickets are loaded on cardboard cards and validated at a card reader upon boarding. Customers can buy as many single tickets as they like at a time and use them later. The tickets must be used within one year of purchase. With advance purchase single tickets, you cannot start your journey during the night fare hours, 2am-4.30am.
The prices and travel zones of the new single tickets are the same as for single tickets bought from ticket machines:
Helsinki internal single ticket: adult €2.90, child (7-16 years) €1.50
Regional/Region 2 single ticket: adult €5, child €2.50
Region 3 single ticket: adult €7.20, child €3.60
The tickets will be available from all HSL service points, Citizen’s Offices in Espoo, Vantaa Infos in Vantaa, all R-kiosks in the HSL area, Stockmann department stores, several K-Citymarket and Prisma stores and a number of other grocery stores and kiosks.
