Metro services between Espoo and East Helsinki resume on Monday 14 January, potentially a reduced service operating in the morning

Normal metro service resumes on Monday morning 14 January after 5am and services are again running between Espoo and East Helsinki. However, passengers are advised to prepare for a reduced service in the morning and to allow enough time for their journeys.

HSL has temporarily added services on the direct bus routes to/from Espoonlahti. There are extra buses on routes 147N approximately 7.30am-8.15am. There are extra buses also on routes 143A, 146A and 164A.

The metro was running only between Matinkylä and Lauttasaari on Saturday 12 January and Sunday 13 January because of the installation of a new interlocking in Helsinki. The potential delays in Monday morning are due to finishing touches being made in the system.
