New Pasila station to open on 17 October

The new Pasila railway station is set to open on Thursday 17 October. Access routes to the station will change, interchanging between trains and other modes of transport will become easier and services at the station will improve. The new Tripla shopping center will open at the same time.

When the new station opens, there will be changes to bus and tram stops around the station. The Pasila public transport terminal, i.e. the bus and tram stops located on Pasilansilta in front of the station, will open at the same time as the new station, on 17 October.

Walking distances between trains and other modes of transport will shorten.

On 21 October, there will be changes to the routes of trunk buses 500 and 510, and the terminus of tram routes 2 and 7 will move from Länsi-Pasila to Pasila station. In addition, P trains via Myyrmäki to Helsinki Airport and A trains to Leppävaara will start using a new track (track 11) at Pasila station.
