Travel on the replacement buses
Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys during the metro service disruption. The replacement buses may become crowded and there may not always be room for passengers with prams. Bicycles are not allowed on the replacement buses. Myös autoilijoiden kannattaa harkita, onko Helsingin keskustassa ajaminen metrokatkon viikonloppuna tarpeen, koska siellä kulkee busseja tavallista enemmän.
Tickets on replacement buses
- The replacement buses 99B, 99M/MX and 99V/VX and tram 11 accept the same tickets as other HSL transport services. However, drivers will not sell tickets on these services. Please by your ticket in advance. The buses have open fare collection, i.e. passengers with a valid ticket can board the buses through all doors, including the middle doors.
- On routes 21X and 20X, tickets are available from drivers and passengers with a valid ticket will exceptionally be able to board the buses also through the middle doors.
- Bus 147N is a regular bus service and tickets are available from the drivers as usual. The bus does not have open fare collection, i.e. passengers can board the buses only at the front.
