Public transport diversions on 29-30 June

There will be public transport diversions in downtown Helsinki on Saturday 29 June due to Bassline Festival and Helsinki Pride. In addition, a reduced ferry service is operating to Suomenlinna.

Tram routes diverted in downtown Helsinki for the Pride parade

On Saturday 29 June, tram routes 2, 3, 4, 7 and 10 as well as bus route 24 will be diverted. During the Pride parade approximately between 11.30am and 2.30pm Aleksanterinkatu will be closed to public transport between Mannerheimintie and Snellmaninkatu.

Trams 2 and 3 will be diverted all day. They will be running the South Helsinki loop  clockwise (Market Squarei–Olympia Terminal–Tehtaankatu–Viiskulma). During the Pride parade, the trams will operate the route of tram 6 to Hietalahti.

In addition, during the Pride parade, tram 4 will run from Lasipalatsi to Katajanokka via Kruununhaka and tram 7 will run from the Central Railway Station to Hakaniemi directly along Kaisaniemenkatu. Tram 10 will turn around in Kolmikulma.

Reduced ferry service to Suomenlinna

A reduced ferry service will be operating to Suomenlinna over the weekend due to technical problems. The reduced service will operate on Saturdays and Sundays until 14 July.

M/S Suokki will be replaced by M/S Tor and the services usually operated by M/S Tor are will be operated by M/S Emma.

The following services from the Market Square will not operate:

On Saturday: 11am, 3.55pm, 4.40pm and 5.25pm.

On Sunday: 11am

The following services from Suomenlinna will not operate:

On Saturday 11.20am, 4.15pm, 5pm and 5.45pm

On Sunday: 11.20am
