You can now download the HSL app from Huawei’s AppGallery. In the future, we aim to bring HSL app updates to the AppGallery, Google Play and Apple App Store simultaneously. Our customers will be able to download HSL app updates at the same time regardless of the phone they use.
“At HSL, we are working to develop digital services and to provide excellent customer experience. We want to make our services available where our customers are,” says the HSL app concept owner, Timo Kiiveri.
“Huawei's significant market share in Finland creates good opportunities for increasing both the download volumes of the HSL app and ticket sales via the app. The more readily available the app is, the higher the number of customers we are able to serve. In this way, we can make our customers’ day-to-day lives easier.”
The Helsinki region is home to over 1.3 million people and about 700,000 people actively use the HSL app per month. The app has been downloaded by users by over two million times
The AppGallery launched by Huawei in April 2018 has expanded rapidly. It is available in 170 countries and it has more than 650 million active monthly users around the world and 76 million active monthly users in Europe. In Finland, there are over 800,000 Huawei devices with the AppGallery.
