Trams 6 and 6T diverted from Hietalahti from Monday 2 March

Trams 6 and 6T will be diverted from Monday 2 March. Buses 21 and 23N will also be diverted in Hietalahti.

The diversion is due to the construction of tramway to Hernesaari and it will be in place from 2 March to 20 July.

During this time, all services on tram route 6 will be operated under route number 6T to the West Terminal. The tram will run from the Central Railway Station to the West Terminal via Kamppi, i.e. the route of tram 7.

In addition, buses 21 and 23N cannot run along Bulevardi past the Hietalahti market square. The buses will run to Eira and Ilmala via Mallaskatu and Uudenmaankatu. In the direction of Vattuniemi and the West Terminal, the buses will run along the other side of the Hietalahti market square.
