<h3 class="hidden">Lift out of service at the Siilitie metro station 22 January - 
8 March
</h3>The lift at the Siilitie metro station will be out of service 
for about six weeks from 22 January because the old lift is 
replaced by a new one. Because the Metro platform area can only be 
accessed by escalator, the station will not be accessible for 
passengers traveling with a wheelchair or pram, or other passengers 
needing to use the lift.  
The closest metro stations to Siilitie are Itäkeskus and 
Herttoniemi. Buses 58 or 58B run from Siilitie metro station to the 
Itäkeskus or Herttoniemi stations. In addition, bus 79 runs from 
Siilitie metro station to Herttoniemi. All buses on these routes 
are low-floor.
