Tram and bus routes diverted in downtown Helsinki on 30 August due to Midnight Run

Tram routes 2, 3, 4, 7A and 7B as well as bus routes 16 and 24 will be diverted on Saturday evening 30 August due to Midnight Run Helsinki.

Diversions to tram routes

Tram routes 2 and 3 will run to the Pursimiehenkatu terminus of tram 1A between 9pm and 9.45pm.

Tram 4 will run to the terminus of route 4T by the Katajanokka Terminal from 9pm to 11pm, i.e. the tram will not run between Linnankatu and Merisotilaantori.

Tram routes 7A and 7B will run via Siltasaarenkatu and Kaivokatu instead of Kruununhaka from 7pm to 11pm.

Diversions to bus routes

Bus 16 will run via Siltasaarenkatu and Hakaniemenranta from 9pm to 11pm, i.e. the bus will not serve Liisankatu and Pohjoisranta. Bus 16 will stop only at the Hakaniemi bus stops 2056 and 2057 along the diversion route.

On route 24, the services from Seurasaari between 8.25pm and 9.40pm will run to the Eira Hospital (”Eiran sairaala”, 1176) bus stop.

Midnight Run Helsinki starts at 9.15pm from the Senate Square and the runners run via the Esplanad Park to Kaivopuisto, via Eteläranta to Katajanokka from where they return to the Senate Square via Pohjoisranta and Kruununhaka.  Some 10,000 runners are expected to join the run.
