Tram routes 2, 3, 4, 7A and 7B as well as bus route 16 will be diverted on Saturday morning 22 February due to a military oath taking ceremony. The tram routes will be diverted because Aleksanterinkatu and Snellmaninkatu will be closed to traffic. Bus 16 cannot run in Kruununhaka during the event.
The trams 2 and 3 will run to the terminus of tram 1A on Pursimiehenkatu approximately beteen 10.50am and 12 noon. Bus 3X will replace the trams in Eira. The bus will run from the Market Square via Eteläranta, Laivasillankatu, Tehtaankatu and Laivurinkatu to Viiskulma. The bus will use the “Kauppatori” stop (2004) by the Market Square and on Pursimiehenkatu the “Viiskulma” stop (1174).
The tram routes 4 and 4T will run to Kolmikulma approximately from 10.50am to 12 noon. Buses 4X and 4TX will replace the trams between Aleksanterinkatu and Katajanokka. The buses will leave from the “Erottaja” bus stop (1900) on Mannerheimintie and run along Eteläesplanadi, Kanavakatu and Kruunuvuorenkatu from where bus 4X will continue to Merisotilaantori and 4TX to the Katajanokka terminal.
The buses will return to Mannerheimintie along Pohjoisesplanadi. The buses will have a temporary bus stop on Pohjoisesplanadi (by Pohjoisespladi 7) close to Katariinankatu.
The tram routes 7A and 7B will run via Kaisaniemenkatu and Kaivokatu approximately between 10am and 1pm. The trams will not serve Kruununhaka.
Bus 16 will not run via Pohjoisranta and Liisankatu in both directions approximately from 9.30am to 11am. The bus will run via Hakaniemenranta, Siltasaarenkatu and Unioninkatu to Kaisaniemenkatu.
