Bus and train services when switching to summer time

Finland will switch to daylight saving time or summer time on the night of 28/29 March, i.e. clocks are turned forward an hour at 3am (3am > 4am).

Early morning bus services, i.e. Saturday service will run on winter time. Beginning from Sunday morning service, transport services operate on summer time. There will be additional bus services on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

Addtional bus services when switching to summer time

On route U280 the 4am service Helsinki-Veikkola-Nummela-Lohja runs on summer time. The departure time is at 3am winter time.

Commuter trains leaving after 4am mainly run on summer time. There are, however, some changes to N and T trains:

  • The 4.01am T train from Helsinki runs on winter time.
  • The 3.45am N train from Kerava to Helsinki does not run because there is a T train from Kerava to Helsinki at 4.49am (summer time).
