There will be track works at the junction of Runeberginkatu and Caloniuksenkatu next weekend. Tram routes 2 and 8 and bus routes in the area will be diverted from 6pm on Friday 12 June to the end of service on Sunday 14 June.
Tram 2 will run via Mannerheimintie instead of Runeberginkatu and Kamppi.
A replacement bus service 2X will operate along the following route: Helsinginkatu - Runeberginkatu - Caloniuksenkatu - Mechelininkatu - Hietaniemenkatu - Runeberginkatu - Et. Rautatiekatu - Arkadiankatu - Lasipalatsi - Simonkatu - Fredrikinkatu - Arkadiankatu - Runeberginkatu - Ooppera.
Tram 8 will run from Helsinginkatu along Runeberginkatu and Ruusulankatu to the Töölö depot, from where it will return to Helsinginkatu in the direction of Sörnäinen.
A replacement bus service 8X will run along Helsinginkatu, Runeberginkatu, Caloniuksenkatu and Mechelininkatu to Itämerenkatu, from where it will continue along the route of tram 8 to Jätkäsaari.
From the direction of Helsinginkatu, the replacement bus services 2X and 8X will leave from a bus stop in front of the City Garden (Kaupunginpuutarha).
Routes of trams and replacement buses
Bus routes 14, 18, 18N, 39, 39B, 39N, 41, 42, 45, 70T and 205 will run along Runeberginkatu, Caloniuksenkatu, Mechelininkatu and Hietaniemenkatu to Runeberginkatu, from where they will resume their normal routes.
