Trains not stopping at Käpylä and Oulunkylä on the night of 2-3 August

Commuter trains will not stop at Käpylä and Oulunkylä on the night of Tuesday 2 August - Wednesday 3 August due to track work north of Pasila station. There will be additional services on bus route 64 (Rautatientori–Mäkelänkatu–Oulunkylä–Itä-Pakila) on Wednesday morning.

I, P, N and T trains will not stop at Käpylä and Oulunkylä from 2 August 10.40pm to 3 August 5.40am.  During this time, journeys to Käpylä and Oulunkylä can be made by bus.

Replacement buses

Between Oulunkylä, Käpylä and the city center

Bus 64 (Rautatientori–Mäkelänkatu–Oulunkylä–Itä-Pakila) stops next to Käpylä railway station at Panuntie and Tinasepäntie bus stops, as well as next to Oulunkylä station at the Oulunkylä market place bus stop. In Pasila, the closest stop is "Pyöräilystadion".  The bus leaves from bay 1 at Rautatientori.

The route will have additional services on Wednesday morning 3 August from Itä-Pakila at 4.07am and 5.07am and from at 4.35am. The additional service use the normal route of bus 64, i.e. the buses will stop close to Oulunkylä and Käpylä station.

Between Käpylä and the city center

Bus routes 67, 67N, 72, 72N, 611, 614 and 615 run between Rautatientor and Käpylä station along Tuusulanväylä. The buses stop at the Käpylä station bus stop. In addition, buses 64 and 66 go to Rautatientori. In the direction of the city center, the buses serve the Tinasepäntie bus stop by Käpylä station, in the direction of Länsi-Pakila they servey the Panuntie stop.

From Käpylä to the north

Bus 69 (Kamppi–Pasila–Käpylä–Pukinmäki–Malmi) will run on Tuesday evening from Kamppi until 0.15am. On Wednesday morning, the first service on ther route leaves from Kamppi at 5.27am and from Malmi to Kamppi at 5.09am. 

From Oulunkylä to the north

There are no bus services replacing trains but buses 69, 72 and 554K run along Käskynhaltijantie via Pukinmäki station.
