Bus routes 24 and 502 as well as tram route 8 will be diverted on Sunday 21 May 12noon-4pm due to ‘Naisten kymppi’ womens’ sporting event.
Bus 24 will not serve Mechelininkatu, Hietaniemi and Seurasaari 12.45pm-2.15pm
The bus will run along Mannerheimintie, Arkadiankatu, Runeberginkatu, Topeliuksenkatu, Haartmaninkatu, Tukholmankatu, Pasiuksenkatu and Munkkiniemen puistotie to Laajalahden aukio.
In other words, the bus will not serve Mechelininkatu, Hietaniemi and Seurasaari. The following bust stops will not be served: “Pohjoinen Rautatienkatu” (1273), “Fredrikinkatu” (1224), “Leppäsuonkatu” (1230 and 1231), “Väinämöisenkatu” (1265 and 1266), "Väinämöisenkenttä” (1267 and 1268), “Hietaniemi” (1269 and 1270), “Hietakannaksentie” (1258 and 1259), “Taivallahti” (1281 and 1282), “Sibeliuksenpuisto” (1283 and 1284), “ Rajasaarentie” (1285 and 1286), “Kajanuksenkatu” (1287 and 1288), “Lastenlinna” (1289 and 1290), “Meilahden sairaala” (1291 and 1292), “Humallahti” (1293 and 1294), “Mäntyniemi” (1295 and 1296), “Ruutikellarit” (1297 and 1298), “Heikinniementie” (1299 and 1300) and “Seurasaari” (1302).
The bus will serve the bus stops located along the diversion route, marked on the map.

Some services on route 502 operated via the Central Railway Station
Route 502 will not serve Kallio. The bus will run along Kaisaniemenkatu, Kaivokatu, Mannerheimintie, Runeberginkatu and Topeliuksenkatu.
This applies to services from Merihaka at 1.40pm, 2.10pm and 2.40pm and from Leppävaara at 1pm, 1.30pm and 2pm.
The bus will not serve the following stops: “Kallion virastotalo” (0226 and 2129), “Castréninkatu” (0227 and 0228), “Kuntatalo” (0229 and 2128), “Wallininkatu” (2126 and 2127), “Diakoniapuisto” (2066 and 2067, “Töölön kisahalli” (2064 and 2065) and “Ratikkamuseo” (1328 and 1329).

Tram route 8 diverted from 12noon to 4pm
There will be three different phases:
Phase 1: 12noon-1.30pm
The tram will run from Arabia to the Töölö depot. In Töölö, the tram will leave from and terminate at the “Ooppera” (0241 and 0242) tram stop. It will not serve the section of route from Mannerheimintie to Saukonpaasi.

Phase 2: 1.30pm-2pm
- The tram will run a loop from Hämeentie along Sturenkatu, Läntinen Brahenkatu and Helsinginkatu –back to Hämeentie.

Phase 3: 2pm-4pm
The tram will run as follows:
- Part 1: a loop as in phase 2
- Part 2: the tram runs from the Töölö depot to Saukonpaasi using its normal route.
