The Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners is organizing a parade on Friday 9 June from 1.15pm. The parade will march from Kaisaniemi to the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Center in Pasila. The parade will cause diversions and delays to public transport.
Changes to bus departure bays at the Railway Square (Rautatientori):
Bays 2,3 and 17 (buses 16, 722,724, 731 and 739) will be closed approximately from 1pm to 1.45pm. The buses will use bays 10, 11 or 12.
From 1pm, buses 55, 633 and 738 leaving from Läntinen Teatterikuja (bay 13) will run via Kaisaniemenkatu and Vilhonkatu to bays 10, 11 and 12 if need be.
Diversions to northbound bus routes running along Mannerheimintie:
Northbound buses 206, 212, 213, 280, 455, 456, 465, 485 and 848 leaving from Kamppi will run via Runeberginkatu and Topeliuksenkatu approximate 1.15pm – 2.45pm. In the direction of Kamppi, the buses will run as usual. The following stops on Mannerheimitie will not be served: "Kansallismuseo" (1907), "Hesperian puisto" (1909 and 1911), "Ooppera" (1999), "Töölön kisahalli" (1913 and 1915), "Kansaneläkelaitos" (1917) and "Töölön tulli" (1919 and 1921).
As the parade proceeds, buses will run along tram tracks when possible and exceptionally stop at tram stops.
