Transport services to Fazer and the surrounding area will improve from 14 August.
On route 572, most services will start running via Fazer under route number 572K. The bus will run about every 30 minutes in the morning and evening peak, in the early evening evering 60 minutes in both directions (Mellunmäki and Hakunila/Myyrmäki). In addition, a new service from Myyrmäki at 6.34 will start running, arriving at Fazer at about 7.22am. Bus 572K will be synchronized with bus 587,about 15 minute headways both in the direction of Hakunila and Myyrmäki at peak times. In the morning and early evening the headway will be about 30 minutes.
A new route, 717AK, running via Fazer will be introduced to ease commuting late in the evening. The bus will run from Hakunila along Kuussillantie and Fazerintie, turn at the Länsimäentie roundabout and continue alongFazerintie and Kuussillantie via Jakomäki to the Railway Square (Rautatientori) in Helsinki. The bus will serve all bus stops on Fazerintie. The estimated departure time of bus 717AK from Hakunila Monday to Friday and on Sundays is 11.04pm, on Saturdays 11.06pm. The estimated arrival time at the "Fazer" bus stop on the northern side of Fazerintie is at 11.10pm Monday to Friday, 11.12pm on Saturdays and 11.09pm on Sundays.
