The old Pasila train station will be closed for good on Monday 19 June 2017. At the same time, the bus stops located on Pasilansilta in front of the old station will be closed. The arrangements will be in place until autumn 2019, when the new Pasila station and Tripla shopping center will be completed. A temporary train station was opened in Pasila already in April.
Changes to bus stops and routes
There are major changes to access routes for passengers changing between trains and buses. The stops for buses 50, 58(B), 59, 518 and 551 will be moved from Pasilansilta to Asemapäällikönkatu. The new stops are located by the intersection of Asemapäällikönkatu and Junailijankuja.
Bus 23 to Ruskeasuo will stop at the Teollisuuskatu bus stop on Ratapihantie and bus 506 will stop at the bus stops located by the temporary Pasila station on Ratapihantie in both directions. Buses 69 and 848 will serve the same stops as before.
As a result of the bus stop relocation, bus 58(B) will be rerouted to run from Pasila station to Kalasatama via Asemapäällikönkatu, Kumpulantie, Jämsänkatu and Teollisuuskatu and it will no longer serve Aleksis Kiven katu.

The “Asemapäällikönkatu” bus stops located on Ratamestarinkatu (see mapa) will be closed to improve the flow of traffic.
The new arrangements will remain in place until the completion of the new Pasila station and Tripla shopping center.
Changes to tram stops
There will be minor changes to the locations of the stops for trams 7A/7B and 9. From 19 June, tram 9 will serve the current stop of tram 7B, while tram 7B will stop at the bus stop.
On the opposite side of Ratapihantie, tram 7A will serve the bus stop by the temporary train station.
At the same time, the timing point of trams 7A and 7B will be moved from Pasila station to the Maistraatintori stop in Länsi-Pasila.
Tram 9 will no longer serve the Asemapäällikönkatu stops on Ratamestarinkatu (see map). In the direction of the West Terminal, a replacement stop is located on Asemapäällikönkatu and in the direction of Pasila, a replacement stop is located on Ratamestarinkatu to the north of the Asemapäällikönkatu roundabout.
Kiss & Ride area relocated to Veturitori
The temporary Pasila station Kiss & Ride area and all taxis will be relocated to Veturitori from 19 June. At the same time, the access route from Opastinsilta to the Pasila Station Square will be closed for construction.
