Tram routes 1A, 7A and 7B will be diverted in the evenings from 5 January to 9 January form about 4pm until the end of service due to Lux Helsinki light festival.
Tram 1A
On Thursday 5 January and Monday 9 January, from about 4pm until the end of service, the tram will run along Unioninkatu via the Central Railway Station to Mannerheimintie and continue along Bulevardi, Fredrikinkatu and Laivurinkatu to Tehtaankatu.
The following stops will not be served: Snellmaninkatu, Kansallisarkisto, Hallituskatu, Senate Square, Market Square, Eteläranta, Olympialaituri, Kaivopuisto, Neitsytpolku, Kapteeninkatu and Eira Hospital.
On Friday 6 January, a Sunday service will operate due to Epiphany and trams 1 and 1A will not run.
Trams 7A and 7B
From 5 January to 9 January, the trams will run every day in both directions via the Central Railway Station from about 4pm until the end of service. The trams will not serve Snellmaninkatu and Aleksanterinkatu.
The following stops will not be served: Snellmaninkatu, Kansallisarkisto, Hallituskatu, Senate Square, Aleksanterinkatu and Ylioppilastalo.
