There will be changes to commuter train services on the night of 24 December and on Christmas morning due to track work in Helsinki. The changes will affect P, I, L, N and T trains approximately 0.28am-9.15am. For example, some trains will depart from Huopalahti and Oulunkylä and not run to/from Helsinki. Train services will be replaced by buses 258X, Helsinki-Huopalahti and 699X, Helsinki-Oulunkylä/Kerava. The replacement buses will run via the intermediate stations and serve the stops marked on HSL's station area maps.

Helsinki-Huopalahti: Replacement buses will leave from platform 29 at Elielinaukio
• P train from Helsinki at 0.48am is cancelled between Helsinki and Huopalahti. Replacement bus 258X via the intermediate stations will leave from Elielinaukio at 0.33am.
• L train from Helsinki at 1.08am is cancelled between Helsinki and Huopalahti. Replacement bus 258X via the intermediate stations will leave from Elielinaukio at 0.58am.
Huopalahti-Helsinki: Replacement buses will leave from Eliel Saarisen tie
• I train from Huopalahti to Helsinki at 0.28am will be replaced by bus 258X, which will leave from Huopalahti at 0.33am and run to Helsinki via the intermediate stations.
• I train from Huopalahti to Helsinki at 0.58am will be replaced by bus 258X, which will leave from Huopalahti at 1.03am and run to Helsinki via the intermediate stations.
• L from Huopalahti to Helsinki at 1.12am will be replaced by bus 258X, which will leave from Huopalahti at 1.21am and run to Helsinki via the intermediate stations.

Helsinki-Oulunkylä: Replacement buses will leave from platform 29 at Elielinaukio
• The1.51am T train will not run. Replacement bus 699X to Kerava via the intermediate stations will leave from Elielinaukio at 1.55am.
• The first T train to Riihimäki will depart from Oulunkylä. Replacement bus 699X to Oulunkylä via the intermediate stations will leave from Elielinaukio at 7.35am
• The 8.36am I train from Helsinki will depart from Oulunkylä at 8.45am. I.e. the train will not from Helsinki to Oulunkylä.
• The 9.06am I train will depart from Oulunkylä at 9.15am. I.e. the train will not from Helsinki to Oulunkylä.
Oulunkylä-Helsinki: Replacement buses will leave from platform 14 on Siltavoudintie in Oulunkylä
• P train from Oulunkylä to Helsinki at 1.10am will be replaced by bus 699X, which will leave from Oulunkylä at 1.15am and run to Helsinki via the intermediate stations.
• N train from Oulunkylä to Helsinki at 1.29am will be replaced by bus 64, which will leave from Oulunkylä to Helsinki at 1.39. NB! Bus 64 does not run via Pasila station.
• P train from Oulunkylä to Helsinki at 1.40am will be replaced by bus 699X, which will leave from Oulunkylä at 1.45am and run to Helsinki via the intermediate stations.
• T train from Oulunkylä to Helsinki at 5.59am will be replaced by bus 699X, which will leave from Oulunkylä at 6.05am and run to Helsinki via the intermedeiate stations.
• T train from Oulunkylä to Helsinki at 7.58am will be replaced by bus 699X, which will leave from Oulunkylä at 8.05am and run to Helsinki via the intermediate stations.
