There will be changes to the timetables of tram route 5 from 1 January 2019 when the departure times of Viking Line passenger ships change. The ships will start to leave from Katajanokka 15 minutes earlier. At the same time, the headways of tram 5 will be shortened to 8 minutes.
Tram 5 will operate from the Katajanokka terminal 9.18am–11.02am, 3.42pm–4.46pm and 7.26pm–8.21pm and from the Central Railway Station 9.04am–10.44am, 3.28pm–4.32pm and 7.08pm–8.08pm.
