Tram routes 2, 3, 4, 7 and 10 as well as bus routes 16 and 24 will be diverted on Saturday evening 1 September due to Midnight Run Helsinki. Runners will depart from the Senate Square and run via Unioninkatu and Kasarmikatu to Tähtitorninmäki, from where they will continue via Eteläranta to Katajanokka and via Pohjoisranta, Pitkäsilta, Hakaniemenranta and Kruununhaka back to the Senate Square. The event is expected to attract some 8,000 runners.
Trams 2 and 3 will run to Pursimiehenkatu to the terminus of tram 1 about 8.45pm–10pm.
Tram 2 will not serve the following stops: "Ylioppilastalo" (0401 and 0402), "Aleksanterinkatu" (0403 and 0404), "Senaatintori" (0405 and 0406), "Kauppatori" (0430 and 0431), "Eteläranta" (0432 and 0433), "Olympiaterminaali" (0434 and 0435).
Tram 3 will not serve the following stops: "Olympiaterminaali" (0434 and 0435), "Kaivopuisto" (0436 and 0437), "Neitsytpolku" (0438 and 0439), "Kapteeninkatu" (0440 and 0441) and "Eiran sairaala" (0442 and 0443).
Tram 4 will a run to the terminus of tram 6 in Hietalahti 8.45pm–11pm.
The tram will not serve the following stops: "Ylioppilastalo" (0401 and 0402), "Aleksanterinkatu" (0403 and 0404), "Senaatintori" (0405 and 0406), "Ritarihuone" (0407 and 0408), "Tove Janssonin puisto" (0409 and 0410), "Kauppiaankatu" (0411 and 0412), "Vyökatu" (0413 and 0414), "Puolipäivänkatu" (0415 and 0416) and "Merisotilaantori" 0417 and 0421).
Tram 5 will run exceptionally until 11pm.
Tram 7 will run via Kaisaniemenkatu instead of Kruununhaka 6pm-midnight. The following stops will not be served: "Snellmaninkatu" (0454 and 0455), "Kansallisarkisto" (0452 and 0453), "Hallituskatu" (0450 and 0451), "Senaatintori" (0405 and 0406), "Aleksanterinkatu" (0403 and 0404) and "Mikonkatu" (0424 and 0425).
Tram 10 will run to Kolmikulma 8.45pm-9.45pm. The following stops will not be served: "Kolmikulma" (0703 and 0704), "Johanneksenkirkko" (0705 and 0706), "Kirurgi" (0707) and "Tarkk’ampujankatu" (0708).
Bus 16 will run in both directions via Siltasaarenkatu and Hakaniemenranta 9pm-midnight. The bus will not serve the "Snellmaninkatu" (0454 and 0455), "Meritullinkatu" (2013 and 2014) and "Liisanpuistikko" (2015 and 2016) stops.
Bus 24 will run to the Eira terminus (H1178) of buses 18 and 21 via Tehtaankatu 8.45pm–10.30pm.The "Kapteeninpuistikko" (1205 and 1206), "Meritori" (1208), "Merikatu" (1209) and "Neitsytpolku" (1207) stops will not be served.
The buses will serve all stops along the diversion route.
