Trams 2 and 7 will be diverted from Monday 25 June to Sunday 22 July. There will be no tram services between Pasila railway station and Nordenskiöldinkatu. Tram services will be replaced by bus 2X (Lasipalatsi – Länsi-Pasila – Pasila station).
The diversion is due to track works conducted around Urheilulehto. Trams will not be able to run along Nordenskiöldinkatu between Mannerheimintie and Reijolankatu.

Diversion route of tram 2
Route of tram 2 from 25 June to 22 July: Olympia Terminal – Lasipalatsi – Töölö – Urheilutalo – Paavalinkirkko (St. Paul’s Church).
The tram will run between Olympia Terminal and Töölöntori as usual. From Töölöntori, the tram will continue to Helsinginkatu and via Urheilutalo and Sturenkatu to its temporary terminus by St. Paul’s Church in Vallila.
Tram 2 will not serve the following stops: “Ooppera” (on Mannerheimintie), “Töölön halli”, “Kansaneläkelaitos”, “Auroran sairaala”, “Eläintarha”, “Palkkatilanportti”, “Maistraatintori”.
Diversion route of tram 7
Route of tram 7 from 25 June to 22 July: West Terminal - Kamppi - Central Railway Station - Kruununhaka - Sörnäinen - Pasila station
The tram will run between the West Terminal and Itä-Pasila as usual, but the terminus of the tram will be at Pasila station. In Pasila, the tram will use its normal route to the station. From Pasila station, the tram will return to Asemapäällikönkatu and continue via Ratamestarinkatu to its normal route.
Tram 7 will not serve the following stops: “Kyllikinportti”, “Maistraatintori”, “Pasilan asema” (H0611 to the east of Ratapihantie), “Messukeskus” (H0613 to the south of Rautatieläisenkatu), “Kellosilta” (H0615 to the west of Ratamestarinkatu).
Replacement bus 2X
Route of replacement bus 2X from 25 June to 22 July: Lasipalatsi – Mannerheimintie – Länsi-Pasila – Pasila station.
The best place for getting on bus 2X in the city center is the “Lasipalatsi” stop on Mannerheimintie in front of Sokos (H1903). The bus will run from the “Lasipalatsi” stop directly along Mannerheimintie to Nordenskiöldinkatu, from where it will continue along the route of trams 2 and 7 via Länsi-Pasila to Pasilansilta.
The bus will serve the “Pasilan asema” (Pasila station) stop on Asemapäällikönkatu. The departure stop at Pasila station (in the direction of Lasipalatsi) will be H0620 on Ratapihantie. The stop is usually served by tram 7 in the direction of Länsi-Pasila.
Bus 2X will serve bus stops on Mannerheimintie, Nordenskiöldinkatu and Veturitie. In Länsi-Pasila, the bus will serve tram stops. For detailed information about the stops, see below.
Tram tickets will be accepted on the replacement bus. If you have a valid ticket, you can board the bus through the middle doors.

“Postitalo”
The end and departure stop in the city center will be to the south of Postitalo. The bus will continue via Asema-aukio and Kaivokatu to Mannerheimintie.
“Lasipalatsi” (in the direction of Pasila station)
The bus stop is located along Mannerheimintie in front of the Sokos department store (H1903).

In the direction of Lasipalatsi, the bus will leave from stop H0620 on Ratapihantie usually served by tram 7.
