Reduced A and K train services on Thursday 1 February due to heavy snowfall

Commuter train services on Thursday 1 February

A and K trains will operate a reduced service on Thursday 1 February due to the expected heavy snowfall. Every other K train is cancelled. Every other A train is cancelled in the morning and evening peak.

The services are reduced to ensure that commuter trains could operate as punctually as possible despite the heavy snowfall.

The severe weather conditions may also cause delays and cancellations to bus and tram services. Please allow extra time for your journeys.

A trains from Helsinki operate as follows:

At 5.53am and 6.23am-6.33pm  A trains leave from Helsinki at 13, 33 and 53 past the hour.

6.33pm-10.03pm A trains operate as usual.        

A trains from Leppävaara operate as follows:

6.16am-6.56pm A trains leave from Leppävaara at 16, 36 and 56 past the hour.

6.56pm-10.26pm A trains operate as usual.

K trains from Helsinki operate as follows:

At 6.31am-7.31pm K trains leave from Helsinki at 01, 21 and 41 past the hour.

K and N trains from Kerava operate as follows:

6.41am-7.44pm K trains leave from Kerava at 11, 31 and 51 past the hour.

The 7.44pm N train from Kerava is cancelled. Otherwise N trains operate as usual.

In addition, there may be changes to departure platforms at Tikkurila and Järvenpää.
