Tram routes 2 and 3 will be diverted on Saturday 16 June from 3pm until the end of service, running the loop in southern Helsinki clockwise. The diversion is due to a street festival.
Tram 2 will run from Olympia Terminal the route of tram 3: Laivasillankatu – Tehtaankatu – Laivurinkatu – Fredrikinkatu – Bulevardi – Mannerheimintie.
The following stops will not be served: "Olympialaituri", "Eteläranta", "Kauppatori" (Market Square), "Senaatintori" (Senate Square), "Aleksanterinkatu" and "Ylioppilastalo".
Tram 3 will run from Mannerheimintie to Olympia Terminal the route of tram 2: Aleksanterinkatu – Unioninkatu – Market Square – Eteläranta – Laivasillankatu. From Olympia Terminal, the tram will use its normal route.
The following stops will not be served: "Olympialaituri", "Kaivopuisto", "Neitsytpolku", "Kapteeninkatu", "Eiran sairaala", "Viiskulma", "Iso Roobertinkatu", "Fredrikinkatu", "Erottaja" and "Ylioppilastalo".
The trams will change route numbers at the Olympia Terminal.
